03 · Detransition & regret

Your story does not end where transition did.

What happened to you matters. You deserve practical care, honest answers, and room to change direction without being hidden or shamed.

Begin hereProtect your health, gather your records, and find people who take your experience seriously.

Start with what you need now

Care for the body you have.

You do not need to prove a new identity or adopt a political label to ask for help. Build the next plan around your actual medical and practical needs.

01

Do not stop prescribed hormones abruptly. Find a qualified clinician willing to work from your sex, history, organs, symptoms, and current goals.

02

Request medications, doses, labs, consent forms, operative reports, pathology, imaging, and complication notes. Keep your own complete copy.

03

Build care around actual needs: primary care, hormones, fertility, reproductive health, surgery complications, voice, pelvic floor, and trauma.

Support that takes regret seriously

People and resources that will listen.

Peer groups can reduce isolation. They do not replace qualified medical, mental-health, or legal care.

Educational information only—not individual medical, legal, or crisis care. Pastoral and peer resources do not replace licensed professional help. Laws, school policies, and professional credentials vary; verify them locally. Send corrections to inquiries@chooocole.com.
